The guidelines are natural \u2013 giving society ethical guidelines in dealing with one another from the smallest unit of a family to the larger context of a nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter how diverse a community is, the social guidelines point to the creation of a society that promotes harmony and mutual respect \u2013 two qualities that are needed in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at how the Prophet \ufdfa in one of his sound Hadeeth outlined the rights of a Muslim to another \u2013 a clear guideline of how a Muslim should act in a respectful manner with his her brother or sister:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u062d\u064e\u0642\u0651\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064f\u0633\u0652\u0644\u0650\u0645\u0650 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064f\u0633\u0652\u0644\u0650\u0645\u0650 \u0633\u0650\u062a\u0651\u064c: \u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0644\u064e\u0642\u0650\u064a\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0641\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0651\u0650\u0645\u0652 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u062f\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0627\u0643\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0623\u064e\u062c\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0647\u064f &nbsp;\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0635\u064e\u062d\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0627\u0646\u0652\u0635\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0647\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0639\u064e\u0637\u064e\u0633\u064e \u0641\u064e\u062d\u064e\u0645\u0650\u062f\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0645\u0651\u0650\u062a\u0652\u0647\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u0627\u064e \u0645\u064e\u0631\u0650\u0636\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0639\u064f\u062f\u0652\u0647\u064f &nbsp;\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u0627\u064e \u0645\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0627\u062a\u0652\u0640\u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0647\u064f \u0631\u064e\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0647\u064f \u0645\u064f\u0633\u0644\u0650\u0645<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rights of a Muslim to another are six:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>When you meet one another, greet with salaam<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>When you have been invited, attend to the invitation<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>When he needs nasihah, counsel him<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>When he sneezes and praises Allah, respond by saying \u201cMay Allah have Mercy on you\u201d (YarhamukAllah)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>When he is sick, visit him<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>And when he dies, follow his funeral<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All the rights mentioned by the Prophet \ufdfa promotes positive vibes between individuals and to the community at large, from the moment one meets until one could possibly depart in the case of a death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Greeting with Salaam to another is a noble and respectful act \u2013 a great start to a meeting or even a mere conversation between individuals. What more does one need than someone praying for you with peace and the blessing of Allah the moment you meet one another<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>While the Hadeeth talks about the need to attend to an invitation, one needs to make sure that the invitation does not have any elements that are not permissible in Islam. For example, one shall not attend an invitation to a party that is filled with alcoholic drinks<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>If a brother or a sister seeks consultation, as to whether he should do it or not, then advise him\/her with that which you would like for yourself<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Responding with a prayer for your brother\/sister to be under the Mercy of Allah is a show of Shukr to the person who had earlier glorified Allah when he\/she sneezed<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Visiting the sick brings a lot of goodness. Sitting with them can cheer them up whilst at the same time one could possibly assist the family of the sick. Our visit would allow the family to take a break whilst we are with the sick<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>To follow ones\u2019 funeral is the ultimate respect. It is not only a mark of respect to the deceased but it is also a show of respect and honor to the family of the deceased. While he\/she is no longer in this world, the relationship with his\/her family shall continue<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The six rights of a Muslim to another Muslim goes well with what Allah had mentioned in the Qur&#8217;an:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0648\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0627\u0648\u064e\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0628\u0650\u0631\u0651\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0642\u0652\u0648\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u06d6 \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0627\u0648\u064e\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0625\u0650\u062b\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064f\u062f\u0652\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0646\u0650 \u06da \u0648\u064e\u0627\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u06d6 \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u0634\u064e\u062f\u0650\u064a\u062f\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0639\u0650\u0642\u064e\u0627\u0628\u0650<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And help one another in good and Taqwa and do not help one another in sins and transgressions.
